BuShKiLl FaLlS!

Today Josh and I went with our friends Brandon and Mindy to Bushkill Falls, "The Niagara of Pennsylvania", as it is called here. It was a two mile hike with eight waterfalls to see! It was so pretty. I didn't know if I was in Hawaii or Pennsylvania half the time! They also had a place you could rent paddle boats and a mini golf course. It was a really cool place. The pictures don't even do it close to justice. Then we had to hurry home because we had an Elder's Quorum BBQ! It was really fun to get to know the people in our new ward better. We are so grateful to have such great friends here. We are so blessed!

Happy Birthday Josh!

Today was Josh's 24th birthday! Last night I made him stay up till midnight watching College Road Trip so he could open his presents at midnight! I gave him a tool set so he can be a good handy man around the house! My family gave him a zip up hoodie and Sahara the movie. His parents got him some church clothes and gave us a new Apple lap top! It came with a printer and an ipod touch! We were pretty excited. Since it was Josh's birthday and he didn't have school we wanted to do something special today. We were planning on going to Bushkill falls which is they say like the Niagra Falls of Pennsylvania. There are hiking trails all over and stuff. But Josh wasn't in a hiking mood today because he works out so much at football. So we decided not to do that. Then we were going to go kayaking on the Susquehanna and when we were at the store to rent a kayak it started raining! So we put that off too. Then we decided to go see The Dark Knight. Josh had really been wanting to see it so we went to an early show. It was definitely a guy show. Very action packed and alot of killing and very violent. It was a good show I thought but very violent. Josh loved it! Then Josh had to go to football :( So I made him a cake! His favorite is German Chocolate but I guess they don't carry that frosting in Pennsylvania or something cuz I couldn't find it anywhere! So I had to call my mom and get a recipe for it. I'll have to let you know how it is! Happy Birthday Josh! I love you tons!

20 Years Ago...

1. I was born! Ha ha. I was about 7 months old.

2. I had my learners and was excited to get my license and date!
3. I did Drill Team in High School this year instead of Volleyball. I tore my hamstring too because of it!

Hill Cumorah Pageant!

Last night Josh and I went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra New York. It was AMAZING! If any of you have ever been to the pageant in Manti this one is like ten times better! There was so many special affects. They used alot of like fire and water and mist. If any of you are ever in Palmyra I would definitely go to it! Or plan a trip. It is a must see! Josh and I didnt get home till two in the morning but it was so worth it!

GlOw BuGs!

Since we moved out East I have loved the glow bugs! They are so cool I love to walk through my backyard and watch them all fly up. The other night Josh and I caught like six of them in a jar cuz I wanted to get a picture of them all glowing. But, they would only glow for like two seconds and that was not long enough for me to snap a pic! So we decided to take a video! Don't mind Josh in the end..ha ha he was killing a big spider with a shovel. It scared me to death. But I hope you enjoy the glow bugs in our backyard! I know I do!

I GOT A JOB!!

It has happened FINALLY! After applying and applying for every job in Lewisburg I finally got a job today! I'm going to be working at the community hospital as a Phlebotomist. They said that they will work around my school schedule too! And it's in the medical field so I can get some experience in the field I will be working in! Oh we are so blessed and I am so happy I finally found a job! It's about time dont ya think? I haven't had a job really since we have been married! But what a relief. We are so happy and excited! :)

Grilled Pineapple

Josh and I have a new favorite treat! Our friends who lived in Hawaii for a while showed it to us. Its grilled pineapple! I'm not really a pineapple fan most of the time, but it is way good! I think everyone should try it. Its really easy just buy a pineapple, they are way cheap, and cut

it up and grill them for like 5 minutes or so. Until golden brown! ha ha. Then ENJOY! It's a delicious healthy snack!

So I wanted to post my tag but I also wanted to say that Josh and I went to see Get Smart last night and it was HILARIOUS! We loved it! I highly recommend it to everyone. It is so good because it is so funny but yet very action packed and it had a love story. Everyone should go see it! If you go to itunes you can download a free preview thats like 9 minutes long and it is the funniest thing ever!

5 Years Ago:I was living in Koosharem and getting ready to move to Richfield. I was a Sophomore in High School and loved Koosharem and didnt want to move.

Yesterday: I sat home most of the day while Josh was at work because he had the car and I couldnt go anywhere. When he got home we BBQ'd us some hamburgers and went to see Get Smart at the theater. It was a great movie and I totally recommend everyone to go see it.

5 Favorite Snacks: Ice Cream, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, corn bread, cake.

5 Favorite Books: The Book of Mormon, Twilight series, The Host, The Secret Journal of Brett Colton, and Desire of our Hearts.

5 Bad Habits: Worrying about EVERYTHING! Biting my nails, being too judgemental, being impatient, and worrying about everything again. I worry alot ALOT about everything and its bad.

5 Pet Peeves: Stinky things. Bad breath, BO, smoking, slow drivers especially the people that don't move over when they are turning and you almost run into the back of them!

5 Famous (well-known) People I Want To Meet: Everyone in church history and Celiene Dion. I love her music and it would be cool to meet her.

Friends!

Last night Josh and I had our friends Brandon, Mindy, and little baby Ethan over for dinner. They are leaving on a trip for 10 days to California so we wanted to hang out with them before they left. They are our really good friends that we met from church since we moved here. They live right down the street from us. It is fun to have them so close. Yesterday Mindy and I went to the mall to get pedicures but the only place in the mall was one of those oriental nail places and it looked a little nasty so we decided not to get one. We got a little freaked out by the nasty fungus thing that you can get at not clean nail places. But it was all worth it because there were some way good sales at the mall! We have been so blessed with good friends and neighbors since we moved here. We are very grateful for that.

Family and 4th of July fun!

Josh and I flew home on the 2nd to visit Rhett before he leaves on his mission! On the 3rd we went boating at Pine View. It was alot of fun! Josh came and sat on the beach the whole time while we went boating because he had a big mid term paper due! Here is a video of how good a wake boarder I am! ha ha. I know its embarrassing but it was only my second time. I can't quite figure out how to get back across the wake.

On the 4th Josh and I drove to Richfield. My whole family came to Richfield because my Aunt Pam got married! It was alot of fun. We went to the parade and played all day at the park. Then we went to Pam and Roger's wedding. After we all watched the fireworks in my frontyard! Here is a scrapbook of all we did!

On the 5th we drove back up to Provo and went to Seven Peaks with Josh's family. It was alot of fun. It was the first time Rhett and Jake both had girls with them and we all hung out and had a really good time! Josh got quite scared on some of the slides! He was holding on for dear life to the tube and my legs on the boomerang! Then on the big huge slide that goes straight down he sat up halfway down cuz he says he couldn't breathe, but I know it was just because he was nervous. He almost fell out of the slide! It was funny I was laughing pretty hard! After Seven Peaks we went to Park City and rode the zip line. On the way up on the ski lift Josh, me, Jake, Chelsi, Katie and Rhett all got to ride together. They take your picture and we all decided to kiss! But when we went to look at the picture Jake and Chelsi were the only ones kissing and they were making out HARD CORE! JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY!!! Ha ha. When we rode the zip line Josh flew down the mountain and was beating me but at then end the heavy people slow down alot and I flew right on past him and beat him! It was a great feeling. Then Josh tried to get out of the harness without unbuckling himself and totally crotched himself! There were alot of funny stories that happened and we didn't stop laughing the entire time! We have great families and were sad to come back home. It was so good to spend time with Rhett before he leaves on his mission to Africa. We know he will be a great missionary and we will miss him!
