Ward Shower!

Yes I know I am spoiled...I have such a great ward here! Some of my friends planned me a baby shower and it was so fun!! We played some great games. We had a race to see who could diaper a football and a teddy bear the fastest. We played this fun game with brown paper sacks and we had to guess what baby products were in them. Then we had to guess all these famous peoples baby's names! We laughed a lot and had a great time! I got some really cute outfits and fun stuff for Baby Andersen. He is going to he SO spoiled! It was so great to spend some time with all my friends here before we leave.

My last day of work was on Friday! Now I am just going to be packing and getting ready to move! I can't believe it is finally here. It still seems like a dream.

Surprise Baby Shower!

Tonight all the people from my work surprised me with a baby shower! It was so much fun and I was completely surprised! It is my last week of work, and I will really miss everyone that I have become such good friends with. Working at Service 1st has been such a blessing this last year and has kept me sane! I have met some great people here in Pennsylvania and will miss them all!

Story for the day:

I was helping this member today that does not speak English very well and is from Peru. He walked in and in his strong Spanish accent says "Maddi!" I said "Hello, what can I do for you today?" He said "Maddi...your face it fat!" Thank you sir....have a nice day also.

Josh said it is a compliment in his culture to be fat....so in his own way he was giving me a compliment. Please keep your compliments to yourself, and remember I am 8 months pregnant!!!!!

Easter & Carrie Underwood!!

Well, Josh and I have been busy lately! The end of march we got tickets to Carrie Underwood! It was SUCH a good concert. She has an AMAZING voice and if its possible is better live!! I as in awe the entire time. Sons of Sylvia and Craig Morgan opened up for her and they were both SO good!! It was such a good show. We have never been to a concert together so it was a new experience. She did some really cool things in the show. The video is of her in the back of a truck and it went all around the entire stadium in the air! It was really cool! We had a really good time!

For Easter weekend we had a nice weekend off! On Saturday we went to RB Winter Park with some friends and had a BBQ and went on a little hike/walk. We watched conference, which was amazing as usual. Then on Sunday we had the missionaries and one of our friends from Bucknell over for dinner. It was a nice weekend, but kind of sad because holidays are always a little harder being away from home. But less than a month left here! :) I got Josh a cute little Easter basket with some candy, and Sherlock Holmes! He really wanted to see it but we never got a chance to in theaters so now we have it! We really liked it. He got me a portable propane grill!! Ha ha. Well that's how we got around buying it anyw

ay. I have REALLY wanted one for when we go have BBQ's and stuff, but we have

never got one. So I was really begging to get one for our Easter weekend trip to RB Winter Park and he was against it. Then when we went to Wal-Ma

rt and found that they were only $25.00 he was in! Then he said "Oh yeah this can be your Easter gift." So that is how he settled his min

d on spending the money! He has been a real penny pincher lately, and if you know Josh that is TOTALLY not him. He is getting ready for the baby and says that every time he buys something he feels guilty and like he should spend it on the baby. :)

Speaking of the baby, he is doing great! I am now over 30 weeks along! I have been feeling pretty good except I am carrying him really low and my hips KILL!!! He just keeps pushing on them and sometimes I cannot even walk. It feels like they

are out of their sockets. Other than that things are great...ha ha. I am flying home May 8th with my mom and Josh will be coming home after he finishes finals about a week later. I can't believe it is really happening and we are coming home! It seems like a dream. Now if Josh could just find a job....
