3 years!!

Well it was our anniversary on September 21st! Josh and I decided we are going to trade off every other year on who plans our anniversary and this year was Josh's year. He did such a good job! He surprised me by taking me to Fish Lake (where we got engaged) and stayed at our friends cabin! We dropped Jax off at my parents house in Richfield and headed up to Fish Lake! Josh had planned a picnic at Twin Creeks where we got engaged! It was so cute! In the morning we got breakfast at the Bowery and headed back down to get Jaxson! He did great at my parents house all night and we were so grateful for that! Then on our actual anniversary on Tuesday we went to the temple! It was a great anniversary and I can't believe it has been three years! Here are some pictures of some of our greatest memories and experiences we have had in our 3 years!

Crafty Lady!

Well since Jax has been born I have become quite crafty! I wanted a car seat cover and a tag blanket but they are way expensive in the stores. At Swiss Days the car seat covers were going for $40!! I made two for like $7! The tag blankets are about $25-$30 online, I made three for $10! They were so super easy to make too! And Jax LOVES the tag blanket, I was so surprised how little ribbons could be so entertaining! Here are my creations!!

Jaxson's new sound!

Jaxson discovered a new sound he can make. Yesterday during sacrament he all the sudden starting doing this "OOO OOO" sound and his mouth makes a perfect O! I was laughing so hard I had to look away from him. He has been doing it ever since. It is so funny when they find new sounds and think they are talking! I can't wait for many more sounds and discoveries with him!

Firsts, Lion King & Blessing!

Lots has happened since the last post! Jaxson has had lots of firsts. My brother and his wife Cori bought Jaxson the cutest little swimming pool. Thanks guys! :) Jaxson LOVES his bath so we decided to try out the pool one day. Josh and Jax got in their swimming suits and we filled up the tub with warm water. It was so cute, Josh didn't want him to get in alone and was nervous so he got in his swim suit too and got in with Jaxson, even thought he did not fit AT ALL! Jaxson loved it! He would have laid in there all day and kicked!

Jax also had his first rice cereal! He has been eating like 15-20 ounces at night before he goes to bed, and I can't produce that much all at once, so I started rice cereal. He liked it the first time, but now he gets a little frustrated so we will keep trying! Here is a video of his first rice cereal!

Jaxson is the loudest sleeper! He just moans and hums ALL night long. We have gotten used to it now, but at first we could not sleep. We got a video of him moaning and humming and believe me he does it ALL night. At least I know he is breathing! But then when he stops sometimes I get nervous. Ha ha.

My mom, Cori, and I went to the Lion King at the Capitol Theater! It was AMAZING and we all loved it! We went to Olive Garden before and it was super yummy too! We could not believe the awesome costumes and how they made everything work. It was like none of the other broadways I have seen before. It was awesome, if you have the opportunity to go to it...DO it was amazing!!

On September 5th we blessed Jaxson in Midway. It was such a good day. I was so worried that he would scream the entire time but he was awake and just looking around the whole time. Josh did such a good job too! I was so proud of him. My cousin Axel was blessed on the same day also and my dad blessed him so it was a good day. We had a yummy breakfast after at Ralph and Heidi's house too.
