DC and Easter!

Josh and I were able to go to Washington DC this weekend. We went down Friday after Josh got done with class and went to the late session at the temple. The temple was SO beautiful at night! It is such a pretty temple. We got a hotel and the next morning we got up and went to see the sights. We were able to visit the National Museum of History and the Air and Space Museum at the National mall. The Hope Diamond was pretty cool. I thought it was going to be a lot bigger though for some reason.

This picture is the solar system. It is to scale of how big each planet is. The Earth is the dark blue circle. The half yellow circle is the sun! Look how big Saturn's rings are compared to the earth! I thought that was cool!

We were also able to go to the National Zoo. It was so fun to see all the cool animals! They just had a baby gorilla and she was SO cute! And let's just say Spring is in the air at the zoo if ya know what I mean! Ha ha. We had a few interesting experiences with some of the animals.

On Sunday for Easter we went to church and then went to our neighbors house for dinner. It was really yummy. Later that night we went to our other neighbors for a lesson with the missionaries. I also got Josh an Easter basket! It was a great day! We were able to talk to our families also. My mom sent us a great Easter package too! We loved it! Thank you so much Mom! We love you!! We hope everyone had a great Easter!

NEW JOB!!

So remember how I had an interview last week?? Well they called me today and I got the job!! I am going to be working at Service 1st credit union! I start April 20th and it's a full time position! It could not have come at a better time in life. I really needed a job. I am so excited! And grateful! The Lord has blessed us so much and answered our prayers so many times. This is not the first. It just reminds me how much the Lord loves us and knows us personally and what we need in our lives!
Josh and I are planning on going to DC this weekend. We were going to just go down Saturday and go to the temple, but now we are thinking about going down Friday and getting a hotel and seeing some of the sights! It depends on if we can find a hotel in our price range :)
