Happy Birthday Tyler!

I didn't have time to post during the week because of school and work and stuff but I wanted to make a special post for my brother! It was his birthday on August 20th! He is 23 now! He just got married and him and Cori are going to Snow and they just got all situated in their new apartment and stuff. I am so proud of him! He is the best brother anyone could ask for! I'm sorry we weren't there on your birthday but I hope you had a great one! I love you Ty!

Tyler's wedding and Utah fun!!

I just got back from a ten day trip to Utah to see my family and go to my brothers wedding. Josh wasn't able to come because he had football camp. It was so hard to be away from Josh for that long! It was great to come home and see him but it was also hard to leave my family, so I had some mixed emotions. I hate flying...especially by myself. But it was ok I'm getting better everytime. I flew in on Wednesday the 6th late at night. My aunt and cousin were there to pick me up and we went and met my mom at my aunts.  Thursday my mom and I went and got all the stuff for Tyler and Cori's Engagement party. Then we went back to Richfield and hung out. We made Tyler and Cori a cute scrapbook for everyone to sign. Then on Saturday Cori took her endowments out at the Manti temple. It was really neat! Then that night we had an Engagement party at my house. O

n Monday I went to Cedar City to see my friend Merica. She just had a baby, TyLee, she is 5 weeks old. She is so cute! Then my brother got married on Thursday. They had a breakfast at 9:00 at Marie Calendar's and we all thought that my brother got stood up because Cori was 15 minutes late because she was still getting her hair done. Then they got sealed at the Salt Lake Temple at 1:00. Their sealing was awesome! It was one of the best sealings I have ever been to.  Then we had a reception in Springville from 7-9. It was really pretty and SO many people came. I am so excited to have a sister! ha ha. Then on Friday my cousin Angee had her baby! Baby Jagger he was 8 pounds 6 ounces. We were at the hospital a lot of the day with them and the baby. We got to film Justin (the dad) giving Jagger his first bath. It was so fun and it made me so baby hungry! Then my mom and I went shopping and to see Mama Mia! It was a really good movie! It was so cute! I had a really great trip and it was so great to see my family! I have the best family in the world and in was hard to come back. But it's good to be home and see Josh again. Now I have to go back to work and I start Nursing school tomorrow. Back to the grind I guess. Josh is still in football camp and can come home at night but is busy all day. So I had quite an eventful 10 days!

Breaking Dawn

I just finished Breaking Dawn! It was definitely not what I was expecting at all but it was good! It wasn't my favorite book of the series but it was good! Josh loved it also. He doesn't like anyone to know but he has read (well listened to on CD) all the books. He was hooked! One night we were reading Breaking Dawn together at it was like 11:00 PM and I was tired and said we should go to bed. So we got ready for bed and then he was like "What if I read to you now?" So he read and I was asleep in like 5 seconds. Next thing I knew it was 3:00 in the morning and he was STILL reading!!! So I had a lot of catching up to do. But I took the book to Utah and finished it and he still hasn't! But the funny thing is I am a big Jacob fan. I just can't forgive Edward for leaving Bella and almost killing her when he left! Josh is just the opposite. He likes Edward and doesn't like Jacob. But I think Bella was a big jerk in the last book to Jacob. I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read it but I thought she should just leave him alone already!! Let me know what everyone thought about the book!!! I'd love to hear your comments!! 

New York City!

This weekend Josh and I went with Brandon and Mindy to New York! We are only like 2 1/2 or 3 hours from there. We left Friday after I got off work and got there about eight. Brandon's brother has an apartment in NYC so we stayed there. We got there and parked the car and took the subway to Times Square. I have never been to NYC so it was quite the experience. I was a little freaked out when we got on the subway. There were so many people and it was so dirty to me. Then on one stop this homeless guy got on the subway and was like "Attention Everyone!" I thought we were dead and he had a bomb or something. But he just said he wanted some extra change and stuff. Phew. Then we got to Times Square and it was AMAZING! The lights and the people and everything going on was awesome! Although I hated the smell. It all smells like smoke and garbage. Josh and I just walked around Times Square and saw all the neat things. Then we went back to the apartment and went to sleep. We got up at like 7 so we could see everything in one day. We started off by going to the Gershwin Theatre to see if we could get tickets to WICKED 2:00 show. We got there at about 9:30 and the box office opened at 10. There was already a huge line so we got in it. When we got to the front they told us we were in the wrong line and we needed to go to a different door. So we hurried and ran to the other door and we were first in line! Then these people came and tried to butt us but the guy in charge got mad at them and told them to go to the end of the line. So we ended up getting FIFTH ROW TICKETS TO WICKED! It was awesome!! I have never seen as good of a musical in my life. They had AMAZING voices. Before Wicked we went to the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero. It was really fun. We didn't stop laughing. Then while Mindy and I were at the play Josh and Brandon walked around with Ethan in Central Park and stuff. I guess like 3 people asked them if they were both the Fathers and they got asked to fill out a gay rights paper. Ha ha everyone thought they were gay! It was pretty funny. Then we went and ate at "The Best Pizza" in New York, or so they say. It was pretty good. Then we went and bought the new Twilight book, Breaking Dawn. I have only read about 100 pages of it but it looks really good! I'm excited to read it! But we had a great time in NYC! I can't believe we are so close and can drive there and back in no time at all. I hope we take advantage of that a lot while we live here!
