VaCaTiOn!!

Let me warn you now...this is going to be a LONG post with lots of pictures! My parents were able to come out for 10 days and visit. They got here on Thursday and Josh went and picked them up from the airport on Friday. Saturday morning we headed to Palmyra New York. We did a temple session, went to the sacred grove, and saw the Hill Cumorah Pageant! It was awesome. Every time I go there I love it even more and it strengthens my testimony.

Sunday we just went to church, but the ward we went to was an English, Spanish, and Deaf ward. So we had pe
ople signing in the front and translators in the back, and we had two confirmations done
in Spanish that day. It was the most diverse ward I have ever been to but it was awesome. After church we headed to Niagara
Falls! We saw the falls and walked around the park there and saw all the neat things.

Monday we woke up
 and went to do
our Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour on the Niagara River. This was the coolest thing ever! We were in this Jet Boat and got SOAKED on the rapids. Click here and watch the video of the boats. It was awesome. If you go to Niagara Falls you HAVE to do it!!

Tuesday we spent most of the day in Lewisburg and went to the famous Freez and Mya's Cafe. That afternoon we headed out to NYC! Our hotel was awesome. We stayed at the Marriott at Times Square. You can see the view from our room. We were right on Times Square and it was so cool.

Wednesday was Josh's birthday and the boys went to the Yankees game and my Mom and I went to Wicked. It was my second time seeing Wicked and I LOVE it so much! It is so awesome. I got the soundtrack and I have been blasting it ever since! We went to dinner for his birthday and walked around NYC. Thursday we went on a double decker bus and saw all the sights. We got off at the Statue of Liberty. My mom bought a knock off purse and it was quite an experience. She
said she felt like she did something wrong because the guy that was selling it looked around and pulled his sheet full of purses into a corner and sold us a purse. Ha ha we had a great time in NYC and saw some awesome sights! On Friday we headed to RB Winter Park and had a picnic. It is so pretty there! We had such a good trip and I am so glad my parents were able to come out and we had such a good time. I can't wait to move home soon and be around our families.

Feeding the Ducks!

Josh and I went to feed the ducks at the park today. There were SO many! I have never seen so many ducks. We had some old hamburger buns that we took and wanted to get rid of. It was like a stampede! We would throw a piece and they would all just run to us. They were fighting and pecking each other. It was not quite the experience we were hoping for. I ran out of bread and they still kept running at me! Josh got a video and it was pretty funny. I was a little nervous. But, it was a good, fun experience.

For other news...I finished my third class with the University of Phoenix and I now get a two week break! That's one thing I really like about online school is you can take breaks after your classes. My parents
are coming out this week and I am SO SUPER EXCITED!!! We are going to have so much fun. We are going to NYC, Niagara Falls, Palmyra New York and have so much fun planned! I will have to make a big post after. Josh finishes up Summer School this week and he is excited about that. His birthday is next week, but I gave him his present early because I thought we were going to use it..but, it ended up not working out to go biking. I got him a bike rack for our car! He has wanted one for a while. I also got him something else little to give to him on his birthday, but you'll have to wait and see! :)

4th of July!

Josh and I had a great 4th of July! We started out with a parade at our neighbors and they had a little program where I sang the national Anthem and they had a few other things. We then went swimming for a few hours and got FRIED! We are both red lobsters and in pain. I got a little sick because we got so much sun. We had the missionaries over for dinner and a 4th of July BBQ. We went to the Fireworks in Williamsport and it was the first time I had seen them with music. It was so cool and it gave the fireworks such a different feel. This year we got "Adult poppers." I know I know don't laugh but they were AWESOME! They were so much louder than firecrackers and they were poppers that you threw on the ground.  It was definitely weird being away from our families, but it was a good thought that next year at this time we will be home FOR GOOD! So I can handle it. Happy 4th of July everyone!

Life..

Well it has been quite a while since I posted. Josh and I have been crazy busy with both of us going to school, working, and Josh playing football on top of that! I finish my third class next week though! WOOT WOOT! I can't believe how fast time is flying in school. Josh is already networking and trying to find jobs! I never thought we would get there and it's here!! Less than a year left in PA THANK GOODNESS!!! We were able to find some time last week to travel to DC and go to the temple. That temple is so beautiful! I love it. We were able to see some of our friends while we were there who are out here selling security systems. So it was a really fun trip!
So for our update on our gotcha game..we got ambushed one morning on the way to work. Josh had just rolled out of bed to take me to work and was barely awake. To make a long story short...there was a chase, and it ended in Josh falling out of the car while trying to jump into it while I was driving the getaway car. He had some minor scraps and bruises but nothing too
serious. We were pretty bummed to get out but we had such a good time. We all had a BBQ
at the end and told all of our funny stories that happened! It was a good time and I recommend everyone doing that with their friends
This morning I woke up and Josh had made me pancakes!! Yes, he is very talented with batter. I was impressed. He never fails to make me smile!
My parents are coming out in two weeks and we are going to Palmyra, Niagara Falls, and NYC to see Wicked and the boys are going to a Yankees game! I am so excited to take some time off and see my parents! It has been so long.
We are just hanging out here for the 4th. We wanted to go to DC and see the fireworks over the Capitol but Josh ended up having to work :( Oh well we will have fun here. We wish everyone a very happy 4th of July!!
