Josh and I were able to go to the Penn State game this Saturday. My work has season tickets and we could put in for different games. It was Homecoming and it was FREEZING! They banned all tailgating because of the weather. So it was not exactly what we were hoping for but it was still way fun. We just bundled up really good and we stayed warm. We were on the 21st row so we were really close. The stadium was HUGE and it was pretty much sold out, even considering the weather. Penn State won 20-0 so it was kind of a blow out! It was cool to see Joe Paterno though. I can't believe he is still coaching. He was on the sidelines the whole game though. I had heard he has to watch from the box because he is getting so old, but he was there right on the sidelines. It was really fun and Josh LOVED it!
Again, Mike is still talking about how jealous he is that you guys got to go! How fun that you guys got to go! WAY fun experience huh? (i'm not super jealous of how cold you look though. haha) Yeah, Joepa announced this season he'd be on the sidelines again (he was up in the box the last couple cause of a couple surgeries he had on his knee and i think hip). GO PENN STATE!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fun...but FREEZING! Bryce has considered going to school at Penn State. It looks so cold...although we've survived Park City so maybe we could do it. It looks like you had lots of fun. :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun... It is crazy to see people in winter weather when it is still in the 80's down here! I will miss it on Christmas day... that might be it! haha
ReplyDeleteYa it was a really warm day here, and i remember we all couldn't believe that it was snowing up there! ha ha It would be fun to get to go to a big time game like that!
